Piano Table Lamp Model German DS 28 by De Stijl for Tecnolumen

Vintage Design. Timeless table lamp from the German manufacturer Tecnolumen, based on a design created in the Netherlands around 1928. A functional design that derives its elegance from the reduced design language of the Dutch De Stijl movement. Basic shapes such as cylinders, circles, spheres, and lines characterise this design. A spherical weight supports the cantilevered arm. The cylindrical head of the lamp can be tilted thanks to an OMI joint. Originally designed as a piano lamp, it is now more often used as a library or shelf lamp, as well as on a writing desk. Like all TL lamps, this one also comes with a current serial number. This is marked TL 131. This three-digit number indicates a very old production date. The lamp is in very good condition and shows almost no signs of wear. The cable has been recently renewed by Tecnolumen.
