Price for the pair. Designed by hans brattrud (1933-2017). Made by georg eknes. An original pair of 1960's scandia swivel lounge chairs, in rosewood and chrome. Original makers labels affixed to the base: " georg eknes metallindustri, eikneswag, bergen. Pat pend. Made in norway" Hans brattrud was a norwegian furniture designer and architect. Experimenting with wood bending techniques, he designed the first chairs in his iconic scandia range in 1957. These slatted chairs have a timeless, elegant and organic form.
