Antique plate with brown floral decoration, Grand dépôt E. Bourgeois

Hollow plate made of ironstone, featuring a brown floral decoration on an ivory background, characteristic of decorative productions from the late 19th to the early 20th century, in the refined spirit of French bourgeois tables. The decoration consists of a wide ornamental band crossing the plate, enriched with finely drawn scrolls, around which naturalistic floral bouquets with delicate lines flourish. The rim is highlighted by a continuous frieze, adding rhythm and elegance to the whole. The warm brown hue, subtly nuanced, gives the piece a soft and sophisticated decorative presence. Stamped Grand dépôt – E. Bourgeois. This type of marking corresponds to pieces selected and marketed to a demanding urban and bourgeois clientele between 1879 and 1932. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of age, a patina consistent with its age, and micro scratches from use. Diameter 23 cm, height 3 cm.
