2 leather and chrome metal armchairs Matteo Grassi, 1970

This classic set of two mg15 cantilever chairs in black saddle leather is in mint condition. The thick leather has minimal signs of wear, the chrome rods are in very good condition. The armrests are undamaged and the stitching is solid. This chair is also known as a visitor's chair. Cantilever chairs were first developed in this style by mart stam in the 1920s and taken over by matteo grassi in the 1970s. The italian manufacturer matteo grassi was founded in 1880 as a manufacturer of saddles and riding equipment and has developed over time into a manufacturer of high quality designer furniture.
