Vintage Murano amphora vase cobalt blue

This vintage Murano amphora vase is made in cobalt blue and matte glass with a distinctive grainy texture. The mouth-blown object was crafted using the Vetro Scavo technique from the 1980s, giving it a weathered, antique look with a subtly matte surface and soft colour nuances. The vase features elegant handles on both sides and a heavy, solid appearance. Due to the artisanal production process, small imperfections may be present, which add to the unique and characterful appearance of each piece. Vetro Scavo is a decorative glassworking technique that mimics the effect of centuries-old, excavated glass by using powdered minerals. The vase is in very good condition.
