Set of 3 Baumann sled chairs, France circa 1970.

Very beautiful set of 3 chairs in modernist Scandinavian style from around 1970. Model known as "Sledge" by the famous Swiss designer Emile Baumann, but made in France. Beech structure, like all these chairs, here in a light golden colour, and backrest made of different types of wood, here a rare model in golden teak, laminated and thermoformed. Seats completely refurbished by an upholsterer specifically for their sale and covered in a natural ecru fabric, giving them a lot of modernity. Height at the backrest 80 cm, seat height 46 cm, width 48 cm, depth 51 cm. In perfect condition (it should be noted that 2 of the backrests required the addition of small wooden reinforcement dowels, which do not affect the aesthetics, see the last 2 photos) and of ultra-high quality, this set of 3 legendary chairs with a superb patina will bring great class and a lot of chic to your dining space. It should be noted that at the time of posting, a set of 4 identical to these, with a slightly less pronounced wood grain in the structure but able to match, is also for sale. Not to be missed!!!
