Round earthenware dish from forges-les-eaux, rouen. Decorative earthenware called "black ass" because covered with a dark brown enamel obtained thanks to the manganese oxide chosen for its robustness and price. These earthenware were intended for everyday use. The décor was done with a brush and sponge to imitate the foliage of the trees.
