4 chairs Thonet n°18 years 20

Set of 4 chairs bistro thonet n°18, full format (not "half"), stamped + Czechoslovak tuna label with two "t" to date them from the first period of production after the war, 1922-1925 ca. Very good condition of the lot, refreshed during the course of living in its shade of origin bai brown (almost black) called "American mahogany". The four cannages are recent, the last two still on their new shade that will naturally patinate like the other two over time. Frames with six threads well stretched. There is a slight difference in backrest height between the two pairs (89 cm and 90 cm), a common variation from one production series to another when the chairs were not purchased at the time at the same time, or one or two years apart. The seat height remains normative at 47 cm.
