Large bistro table – Napoleon III style – Cast iron and Carrara marble

Large bistro table from the Napoléon III era, elongated oval top made of white Carrara marble veined with gray, polished to perfection by a professional stonemason and in perfect condition. The base is made of cast iron, consisting of two symmetrical tripod bases adorned with scrolls, curls, and stylized hooves, characteristic of 19th-century ornamental cast iron production. The two bases are connected by a double crossed wrought iron stretcher. The cast iron features a dark patina with a slight bronze hue, original, reflecting the age of the piece. Suitable for 6 to 8 covers, characteristic of large tables in Parisian brasseries and bistros of the time. Dimensions: H. 71 cm × L. 165 cm × D. 64 cm. Weight: 80 kg.
