Teak with pronounced grain, two sliding doors with shaped handles, internal shelves and pull-out trays, and two large drawers. Tapered legs. Danish production, 1960s. Danish sideboard from the 1960s, characterized by compact proportions and an understated construction, defined by the continuity of the teak surfaces and the quality of its wooden details. The upper section is enclosed by two sliding doors with slender, shaped vertical handles. Inside, shelves and two small pull-out trays in lighter wood organize the storage space. The lower section houses two large drawers, with recessed pulls along their upper edges that follow the horizontal grain of the wood. The sides extend beyond the body of the cabinet to frame the front, while four tapered legs lighten the overall volume. A restrained and carefully considered design, characteristic of Danish production of the 1960s, in which functional solutions and teak craftsmanship are integrated with particular coherence.
