Pair of oak candlesticks – Meubelfabriek Oisterwijk, Netherlands, 1960s

Beautiful pair of solid oak candlesticks produced by Meubelfabriek Oisterwijk in the Netherlands in the 1960s. Their architecture evokes the Art Deco spirit with their fluted columns, geometric lines, and balanced proportions. A sober and sculptural aesthetic that highlights the warm grain of the oak. Both candlesticks bear the original stamp under their base. They will fit perfectly on a fireplace, a console, or a bookshelf, as well as in a contemporary, classic, or wabi-sabi interior. In very good condition with a slight patina of use consistent with their era.
