Oval psyche vanity mirror/In old gold bronze Cupids/Rosaces decor

Antique french napoleon III style psyche vanity mirror, in bronze with old gold patina - exuding a timeless charm - period/early 20th century - oval pivoting mirror gracefully decorated on each side with a representation of cupid and a frieze of rosettes. The sculpture at the bottom of the mirror is inspired by canova's sculpture: "psyche revived by the kiss of cupid" present in the louvre. Another eros/cupid is perched with a bow in hand in a central position adding an additional touch of sophistication to this dressing table mirror. The base represents a shell surrounded by rosettes/foliage - this opulent piece demonstrates meticulous craftsmanship, endowed with a wealth of beautiful details and intricate carvings - dimensions/max height 18 cm.
