An original tailor's thread stand from East Germany (GDR), dating back to the 1960s. Designed as a functional cabinet for storing threads and sewing accessories. The frame is made of laminated furniture board, typical of GDR production, while the solid beechwood legs, mounted on original casters, give the piece a light and mobile feel. The top drawer features an original thread organizer, preserved in very good condition. The simple, modernist form, subordinated to function—characteristic of the utilitarian design of Eastern Europe in the 1960s. Ideal as: An authentic tailor's piece, A studio organizer, A unique mid-century/vintage style sideboard. 📏 Actual Dimensions. Height: 62 cm. Width: 50 cm. Depth: 32 cm. 🧾 Condition. Very good vintage condition. Laminate is clean, no cracks. Sturdy beech legs. Original, functional casters. Complete thread organizer. Minor signs of wear consistent with age.
