Midcentury Denmark Sorensen sterling silver salad server set 1959

Pair of sterling silver salad servers - not silver plated, signed w&s sorensen denmark. They are part of the famous patricia service, produced in 1959 in copenhagen. Material, shape, luster of the silver, everything is elegant and delicate, both masculine and soft, a kind of perfection without rigidity or recourse to subterfuge - we are in the era of great danish design. The sterling silver is in very good used condition and the steel spoons each bear the traces of reasonable use. Length 21cm. A joy to behold, indispensable and quite rare.
