Pair of linen pillowcases

Two large antique linen pillowcases measuring 70cmx70cm. (for pillow or cushion up to 60cm) Decorated with 3 rows of openwork all around and the girl's initials "pb" in one of the corners. A "p" in satin stitch and a "b" in sand stitch, a pretty work surrounded by a floral crown executed in richelieu embroidery. The set is entirely handmade, see also the detail of the buttonholes for the small mother-of-pearl buttons... A beautiful quality of tightly woven linen, dry and fresh, perfect for summer nights or naps on sofa + cushions in the shade in the garden. Machine washable by putting them in a pocket to protect the "openwork".
