Charming little roll vase with rich polychrome enamel decoration after models from the very beginning of the 18th century. It presents in particular an elegant decoration of a statue in the taste of the italian renaissance in the center of a cartouche decorated on either side with chimeras on a white background. This model from the manufacture de gien is from the 1875 period (brown and blue stamps under each element with 3 towers and the inscription gien in a large banner). Piece manufactured at the end of the 19th century in france by the famous gien manufacture. Signed under the base gien and hollow mark forming a b and corresponding to the artist who painted this piece by hand. Note the presence of two small chips very barely visible at the base of the vase and a slight restored crack.
