Chair Dalvera Les Arcs

Black lacquered metal, fawn leather. H: 80 cm, l 47 cm, d: 49 cm, seat height: 44 cm. Vintage condition, in very good condition of use: very beautiful patina of fawn leather, presence of stains on the leather but no tear. All visible in the photos. Model selected by charlotte perriand to furnish the apartments of the residences of the ski resort "les arcs" in the 60s. Black lacquered tubular structure, stretched leather for the seat and backrest: this leather is formed of a single piece and reinforced by white double stitching, saddle type, at the base of the seat. The leather is attached to the tubular structure thanks to eight riveted straps: 4 to two rivets on the backrest studs and 4 to three rivets at the top of the backrest and on the seat. Iconic model often mistakenly attributed to charlotte perriand who only ordered it from dalvera, an italian manufacturer now defunct.
