Designed by Henryk Lis in 1967, the iconically compact Type 300-190 armchair—affectionately produced by the Bystrzyckie Fabryki Mebli—was a cornerstone of Eastern Bloc interior architecture, celebrated for bringing elegant proportion and solid craftsmanship into contemporary living spaces. This fully restored original piece combines timeless mid-century heritage with a bold modern identity. Its solid beechwood frame has been meticulously refinished in a rich, dark walnut tone, accentuating the warm grain of the wood. The seat and backrest have been newly upholstered in a striking Pumpkin Orange corduroy fabric—a luxurious cotton-blend offering an inviting texture alongside exceptional abrasion resistance for everyday durability. Designer: Henryk Lis Model: Type 30090 (Designed 1967) Wood: Solid beechwood, finished in dark walnut Upholstery: Premium Pumpkin Orange corduroy (high-durability cotton blend) Style: Mid-Century Modern / Post-war Polish Design
