Exceptional plate made of fine earthenware, characteristic of the prestigious technique of shaded enamel. This process, perfected at the Rubelle factory before being taken up by Amédée de Traversay, uses the transparency of a deep turquoise enamel to reveal an incredibly fine relief portrait. The back of the plate features the stamp "Brevet d'Invention A.D.T", a signature from the late 19th century (Napoleon III period). Balancing technical heritage and rococo aesthetics, this rare piece will appeal to collectors of antique ceramics. The object exhibits a superb shine and remarkable condition.
