This lovely coffee cup is made of limoges porcelain, accompanied by its saucer. This flared cup is decorated with elegant golden friezes. It is a production of a limoges porcelain factory signed “limoges royal chapus france”. The chapus manufacture was founded by jean chapus in 1928 located at 49, avenue montjoies in limoges. Between 1974 and 1977, raynaud bought the company and marketed the production under the name "royal chapus". The activity ceased in 1977. This cup is in very good condition, it measures 7 cm in height X 6 cm and the saucer measures 13 cm in diameter. I would like to point out some wear to the gilding. It will be perfect for enjoying a small, strong coffee, surrounded by other delicate cups chosen for their pretty designs...
