Immense decorative plate in Longwy enamel – Maintenon decor. Superb decorative plate in glazed earthenware from the Émaux de Longwy, made in the art workshops of the famous Lorraine manufacture. It features an elegant polychrome decoration of a bouquet of flowers in the centre, surrounded by a rich vegetal garland enhanced with gold on a deep cracked burgundy background, characteristic of Longwy productions. The reverse bears the stamp "Émaux de Longwy France – Atelier d’Art", as well as an original label indicating: "Maintenon", a limited edition piece of 200 copies, number 10. The decoration is signed by M. Chéron and the enhancements are signed. This high-quality piece combines the tradition of Longwy cloisonné enamels with a refined composition inspired by classic French floral decorations. Dimensions: Diameter: 50 cm.
