This pretty ceramic dish in the shape of a seashell with an emerald green glaze can find many uses in any room of the house: a soap dish in the bathroom, a catch-all in an entryway, a jewelry holder, or even a butter dish on the table! Its design, blending straight and curved lines, immediately evokes the Art Deco style, especially since the seashell is probably the most representative shape of this style. And this beautiful green is typical of ceramics from the 1940s and 50s from many potteries (Vercéram, Saint Clément, etc.). I would therefore date this shell to this period. It is in very good condition, with no cracks, chips, or even a nick. It measures approximately 17 cm on each side with a maximum thickness of 4 cm.
