Beautiful old farmhouse table, with central reinforcement bar between the feet. The base is chestnut and the top elm, its size is ideal for 6 people. The elm used for the tray has a very beautiful grain, dense and tight with a very smooth touch, it was a wood very prized by carpenters in the 19th and early 20th until the tree population was decimated by a parasite. The feet have been raised, it is an old modification. It is in good condition, with marks of use, on the plateau, which do not detract from its charm.
