Vintage 1970s architect's desk lamp, East German (GDR - GDR), red - 50 cm

Vintage architect's desk lamp in red and black lacquered metal, designed and manufactured in East Germany (GDR), circa 1970, in good condition. This lamp is of East German (GDR) manufacture. We have found other models bearing the "Made in GDR" label (photo available upon request). It is a relic from a time when the world was divided between the modern West and the Soviet bloc. It is complete and functional. The paint shows some minor wear and a certain patina from age. There are also a few tiny dents here and there, but they are very discreet. It uses a standard E27 screw-in bulb (not included). The wiring is original. It measures 50cm high and 50cm deep, with a 19cm diameter shade.
