A distinctive antique Japanese cabinet, originating from a medical or nursing context associated with the Japanese Red Cross. The cabinet features a characteristic white finish and is fitted with two glass doors, glass shelves, and a lower section comprising a panelled door and three faux drawers. Original metal hardware and decorative ceramic knobs enhance its authentic character. The top section bears a historical emblem with the inscription 'Nihon Sekijūjisha Shain' (Japanese Red Cross – member/supporter). The cabinet is in an authentic, well-worn condition, showing visible signs of age and craquelure.
