White vase, Danish design, 1970s, made in Denmark

This vase was made in the 1970s in Denmark. An original glass vase in a milky white shade, with a distinctive wavy rim that creates a floral effect. The design is very ‘mid-century’ – light, organic and decorative, yet understated. The vase interacts beautifully with light: the white, semi-transparent glass gently diffuses it, making the piece look subtle and elegant in any setting. It works perfectly both as a standalone decorative piece (on a chest of drawers, coffee table or shelf) and as a setting for flowers – loose bouquets, twigs and single flowers with longer stems look particularly lovely in it.
