Vintage Brass and Glass Table Lamp Base

A striking vintage table lamp dating from around the 1970s, designed in the Hollywood Regency style. The lamp features a sculptural, flower-shaped glass base with a textured finish, set on a round brass-coloured metal base. The combination of clear textured glass and polished brass gives the lamp a distinctive decorative quality. The lamp has been rewired at some stage and has a UK plug. It takes a standard E27 bayonet bulb. The glass may be Italian in origin, although this has not been confirmed. This listing is for the lamp base only. A white or ivory pleated lampshade would complement the lamp particularly well and can be added separately by the new owner.
