Magnificent and extremely rare set of 4 cocktail chairs published by Glenn of California around 1950. Designed by the famous Swedish designer and architect Greta Magnusson, one of the few women to gain recognition across the Atlantic, where she emigrated in 1940. A perfect synthesis of European minimalist style and Californian lifestyle, she designed and furnished many star villas in Palm Springs from her studio on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The structure of these chairs is made of solid American walnut, including the screw covers, and the seats, completely refurbished by an upholsterer for sale, are in very light ecru boucle fabric, in keeping with the spirit of the time. Height at the back 76 cm, front seat height 45 cm, rear seat height 40 cm, width 46 cm, depth 51 cm. With these 4 chairs in perfect condition, you will bring all the chic of Hollywood's golden age into your living room around a beautiful coffee table. Exclusive pieces directly from the USA, unavailable in France, or even in Europe.
