Pierre Giraudon coffee table

A 70s coffee table of Pierre Giraudon, with an oval tray in resin burst in inclusion yellow / amber colors, below the tray in black resin. This table is made of glass inclusion resin in perfect condition. Aluminum central base. This table will bring a unique style in the tradition of 20th century design. Who is pierre giraudon. Pierre giraudon was born in 1923. In the 1940s, he was the first to realize with products of his invention the inclusion under resin of plants, animals or other, for academic purposes. He returned to france in 1949 and began working on this material for his pleasure and brought personal artistic touches. Gradually, he diverted this material to create works of art.  during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s he created sculptures, lamp feet and objects in colored resin with or without inclusions; parallel to his personal creations he works for Caesar. Nevertheless Giraudon still refuses the name of artist because he considers himself above all a biologist. He died in 2012.
