Vintage Soliflore Vase – Jasba Ceramics (Patina)

This superb soliflore vase is a rare historical piece with impeccable provenance from the famous German manufacturer Jasba Keramik. Produced in the heart of the 1950s, the item carefully retains its original paper label on the neck and features the complete brand stamp on its base, accompanied by the mention "Germany". In terms of design, the piece showcases the highly sought-after "Patina" decoration, characterised by a textured glaze of marbled turquoise green that perfectly imitates the natural oxidation of ancient bronze. Its elongated onion-shaped silhouette extends into a long flared neck, enhanced by sumptuous gilding in fine gold on the rim of the base, the inside of the neck, and along an elegant stylised seam on the belly. A striking contrast between the matte greenness and the brilliance of gold, typical of post-war modernist refinement.
