Set of 6 villeroy & boch mettlach fine earthenware dessert plates from the 1950s. Ivory paste, golden fillets. Gently hectic border. Stamp (green stamp): "villeroy & boch / mettlach / made in france-saar economic union". Except the gilding a little erased in places on one plate (see detail photo) and the slightly cracked enamel on another, in excellent condition: no accident, no trace of obvious use (scratch, friction, et al.). Diam 19 cm.
