Louis XIII style footrest in turned wood, 1970
This charming low stool or footrest adopts the classic lines of the Louis XIII style. Made in the second half of the 20th century (circa 1970), it rests on a richly turned solid wood base, connected by an H-shaped stretcher ensuring perfect stability. The rectangular seat is covered in textured beige velvet, highlighted by a row of original upholstery nails around the perimeter. • Condition: The wooden structure is robust, stable, and sound. The seat shows signs of wear consistent with its age, notably a small localized wear on the edge of one corner of the fabric (visible in the photos).
