Vintage Erco glass and Bakelite wall light

German rectangular wall light by Erco (rare size and model) Very beautiful relief diamond-point glass. Illuminated by two porcelain sockets. Base in black Bakelite. Erco was founded in 1934 by Arnold Reininger (1907-2003), Karl Reeber, and Paul Buschhaus in Germany. The company's name, ERCO, is a phonetic abbreviation of the founding name Reininghaus & Co. Requires two small screw cap bulbs (E14). Side push-button switch. The wall light is in its original condition. Some pointed ends located at the edges of the light are blunt (this is only slightly visible due to the glass patterns). A rectangular cover at the back of the Bakelite base is missing (not visible when the light is in place). Weight 1.315kg.
