Hollywood Regency wall sconce in Murano glass by Mazzega, Italy circa 1970.

Magnificent and rare Italian wall light in the pure Hollywood Regency style from around 1970. A two-light model made of Murano glass from the famous Maison Mazzega. The blown glass diffuser, with a diamond-shaped wavy form resembling a wave in translucent cognac tones, is held on a square brushed stainless steel base (30x30x2 cm) by two brass screws. The glass measures 38 cm in height and 31 cm in width. The depth from the wall of the wall light is 13 cm. In excellent condition, there is just a micro-chip on one of the points (sensitive to touch and invisible to the naked eye, thus having no aesthetic impact whether the light is off or on). Of great quality and beauty, especially when lit, this superb luminaire will find its place in an entrance hall, a corridor, or even in a restroom. How classy these Italians are!!!
