This pretty vintage mignardises dish, a collectible, porcelain dish, has been edited and signed by the iconic french restaurant maxim's de paris. Maxim's is one of the most famous restaurants in the french capital, located in the madeleine district of paris. Founded in 1893, it is listed in the inventory of historical monuments. Over the course of its history, it has become an emblematic french place of art nouveau and gastronomy, a must-see meeting place for many international celebrities. This porcelain dish is decorated with the legendary design of the restaurant's menu menu, created by illustrator sem at the beginning of the 20th century. Sem regularly frequented the restaurant and was very inspired for his work by his observation of the regulars of the places of that time. Rectangular in shape, with slightly raised edges, the dish has a red net around its edge and is stamped in red "maxim's de paris" on the reverse. Excellent condition, no scratches, no sparkle, no decor wear. 20th century - 1980s. Total length: 30 cm - length without handles: 25 cm - width: 15 cm -height: 2.5 cm - weight: 650 g.
