Designed in 2019, in paris, by manon sénal. – In greek mythology, the menades were female figures who danced in the escort of dyonisos. The "menades" series celebrates street dancers, who continue to bring a daily dose of grace and poetry to passers-by around the world. In china, the "dancing grannies" meet every morning by rivers, in public squares or in parks to practice tai chi dance; in peru, the "cholas" meet around the "plaza de armas" of each city on the occasion of the holidays. This series pays tribute to some of them, observed behind the scenes during a trip to peru.
