René Drouet mirror coffee table

Sublime coffee table by René Drouet, with a milked metal structure and a layered mirror tray from the 1940s. This piece has a wrought iron base covered with a golden patina patinated by time, giving it a crazy charm. Its east tray is an authentic glass surface plated silver leaf with gold leaf, forming floral and decorative motifs. The mirror has beautiful shades and cracks. The edge of the tray is finely chiseled. A small snag in the glass is present (about 10x10 mm) almost invisible and non-cutting. René Drouet is a french furniture designer of the 20th century, his work is strongly marked by the art deco vein. He works a lot of wrought iron by combining light shapes in refined and decorative interlacings. - Total dimensions - diameter 90 cm X h 43.5 cm.
