Extendable round table Space Age, Italy circa 1970

Very beautiful extendable table of Italian manufacture, distributed in France by Roche Bobois in the 1970s. Completely in the Space Age spirit of that time, this is an intermediate-sized model with a 100 cm diameter top. An extension located under the table allows the length to be increased to 135 cm when unfolded. The central base in a spiral design is made of chrome-plated metal for the stem and polished aluminium for the feet. The top and extension are made of high-quality ivory-coloured formica with a very nice brushed aluminium band. Width from 100 to 135 cm, depth 100 cm, height 76 cm, including a 6 cm band and a 2 cm top. In very good used condition, there are just a few micro scratches and 2 or 3 barely noticeable micro chips that do not affect the overall aesthetics (see the last 2 photos). Ideal for a kitchen, this table will surely bring a true 70s touch to your dining area.
