Large old industrial wooden workshop pigeonhole cabinet

Large grey wooden industrial pigeonhole cabinet from Belgium, circa 1940. We found this cabinet in an old agricultural machinery workshop in Belgium, which was about 150 years old. These cabinets were used there for all kinds of materials and ironware. Due to the simple construction and the wood used, with various texts, we suspect these cabinets were made during the war with whatever was available. On the side of the cabinet, through the paint, you can still see a logo with the text 'Imperial'. We have fully restored, cleaned, and provided this cabinet with a layer of wax. The small compartments have a height of 22 cm and the large ones have a height of 24-25 cm. A beautiful piece of industrial heritage with a stunning appearance. Very suitable for use in an industrial interior, kitchen, or living room.
