Vintage table lamp made of crumpled rice paper, with a matte metal base.

A vintage minimalist table lamp with a large rectangular shade made of crumpled rice paper, on a slender brushed metal stem and a slightly curved flat square base with a matte nickel finish. The finely crumpled paper diffuses a warm, soft light and gives the lamp a Japanese-inspired look. A slender and sculptural silhouette that is suitable for a bedside table, desk, or shelf. In good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. The paper shade is slightly yellowed in places and has a few small marks, a slightly worn greyish edge along the top and bottom edges, and small metal wire hooks at the top showing some rust. The slender metal stem next to the base and the stem itself have a few small dark spots and rust colour. The matte base has a few light marks. The lamp was working at the time of the photo. Height: 58 cm. Shade width: 14.5 cm.
