Old pink opaline glass globe

Superb antique globe in blown opaline glass, marbled pale pink in color, enhanced with a twisted relief decoration applied hot. Elegant and delicate piece, typical of the productions of the late 19th or early 20th century, in the style of portieux, legras or certain italian glassworks. It is probably an old reservoir or globe of an oil lamp, as evidenced by the threaded brass ring at the top. It can be used as is for decoration, or transformed into a vintage lamp. • period: 1900–1930 • height: 15 cm • diameter: 11 cm • condition: very good, no chips or cracks.
