Luggage chair designed by charlotte perriand for the les arcs resort in the late 1960s. Solid pine slatted support fixed on a cream-tinted tubular base in chromed steel. Light and decorative, this piece can easily be diverted from its original function, as a chair (seat height 43cm), side table, bedside table, etc. Designer: between 1967 and 1989, charlotte perriand completed one of the largest projects of her career as an architect and designer. In collaboration with the real estate developer and founder of les arcs, roger godino, she created a ski resort, les arcs, integrating architecture, equipment, and the environment into its design. The interior design is designed according to its uses, from the furniture to the simplest accessory. Condition: consistent with age and use. There are some paint chips on the metal base, which gives it this magnificent patina, the secret of which only time holds, and for purists. The small imperfections attest to its authenticity and offer its timeless charm.
