Isn't this glazing wonderful? For me, this glazing in speckled tones of black, milky grey, and touches of chocolate is undoubtedly the most successful and interesting of those offered by the Atch workshop. This vase also has an elegant, slender shape and is beautifully ribbed. And to top it all off, it is a large piece, an imposing ceramic, which is relatively rare, as smaller Atch pieces, such as sugar bowls, mustard pots, and egg cups, are much more commonly found. This vase is therefore the work of Chantal and Thierry Robert, who worked in their workshop "Les grès du Loir" in Poncé sur Loire from 1973. It is a very beautiful piece of craftsmanship, both in terms of turning and glazing. Their signature or monogram evolved over time, ultimately signing Atch with a stamp (for Atelier de Thierry et Chantal). On this vase, the signature is still done by hand but already includes the A of Atch (atelier), as well as the C of Chantal and the T of Thierry, along with the h common to both names. It is therefore likely a ceramic piece dating from the second half of the 1970s. This vase is in perfect condition, with neither cracks, chips, nor even a scratch. It measures 31 cm in height and approximately 14 cm in maximum diameter.
