Biomorphic servant signed Bernard Buffa

A rare and sculptural piece in glazed stoneware by Bernard Buffat, a French ceramicist active in the second half of the 20th century. This biomorphic, fused double-volume servant features a clean, organic form, evoking both a utilitarian piece and a modernist sculpture. The two compartments are united in a single, fluid structure 27 cm long, with each part measuring 15 X 15 cm and 5 cm high. The textured glaze, with its matte and glossy reflections, reveals careful firing with crystallization effects typical of high-temperature stoneware.
