Large pull-out table G-plan 1950

Large pull-out table g-plan 1950. Teak. Very good condition. Width 99 cm. / 45.5 cm. Height 51.5 cm. / 48.5 cm. Depth 49.5 cm. / 42.5 cm. First production by gplan 1950/1960, first stamp. The gold relief stamp was used by gomme on the first range from 1952 and continued until the sixties. It was a "brand" in the true sense of the word. G-plan was a branded piece of furniture and every piece was marked with this stamp. The text says 'e gomme, high wycombe'. Eg in the center, means e gum. 'g-plan' is in capital letters under the stamp.
