Period: Original vintage piece (1960s-70s) I am selling an iconic example of 20th-century design: the Tulip Armchair (with armrests) by Eero Saarinen, manufactured by the renowned Knoll. This armchair is famous for its revolutionary one-piece design, resting on a single central tulip-shaped base. It is a centerpiece for any lover of modern, Mid-Century, or contemporary design. CONDITION AND AUTHENTICITY: • Guaranteed authenticity: Eero Saarinen for Knoll. The shell and base are original vintage. See the mark under the chair and the Velcro under the cushion. • Overall condition: VERY GOOD CONDITION. The molded fiberglass frame and white base have a beautiful patina. • Defects: There are a few light scratches on the shell, typical of a piece of furniture of this age, but nothing major. • Cushion: The removable seat cushion in bright red fabric is NEW (not original) and offers a superb contrast with the light-colored shell.
