1900 bamboo coat rack

Very pretty Japanese art nouveau bamboo cloakroom. Late 19th, early 20th century. Composed of 5 hooks, a central mirror and an umbrella stand with zinc drainer. The hooks are made of cast iron imitation bamboo. In the style of the Perret-Vibert cloakrooms of the Maison des Bambous, founded in Paris in 1879. This house participated in the Universal Exhibition of 1889 and won two silver medals, the highest award given to their industry. In excellent condition, it is very stable and complete.
