Sars-Poteries coffee makers

Trio of enamelled coffee makers from the village of sars-poteries. Circa 1960. Height: 50 cm – width: 30 cm – depth: 21 cm – weight: 5 kg (unit) 620 € the lot / 250 € the unit. - Colissimo: 26 € per coffee maker (insurance included). - The village of sars-poteries (nord department) owes the second part of its name to the many artisanal pottery factories that date back to the eighteenth century. In 1838, there were nine earthen potteries, eight sandstone potteries, and a fossil ash quarry. Only small workshops (maine, lempereur...) that made pots, jugs, vases and various containers still remained in the 1970s and 1980s.
