Magnificent vintage table lamp from the 1970s, a unique piece from Mediterranean/North African craftsmanship. Made from hand-turned terracotta, it adopts a traditional jar silhouette, emblematic of the period workshops. Its raw and timeless aesthetic fits perfectly with current trends: Wabi-Sabi, raw minimalism, chic ethnic spirit, and bohemian style. The charm of this piece lies in the material and the artisanal gesture. The body is rhythmically adorned with fine horizontal grooves carved on the lathe, creating a subtle play of textures, enhanced when illuminated. The original patina, with shades of ochre and earth, bears witness to time and reinforces its authenticity. Visible traces and irregularities from artisanal production. Some signs of use (micro-scratches, small old chips at the base) do not affect stability and contribute to its unique character. Height: 50 cm (with socket) Width: 30 cm. Functional period electrification (bulb included), B22 brass socket. Slightly temperamental switch, possible refurbishment for a more contemporary finish. Sold without lampshade. A strong, authentic, and singular decorative piece.
