Dining chairs in rosewood by Skovby, 1960s. Designed by E. W. Bach and manufactured by Skovby Møbelfabrik Denmark in the 1960s. The chairs feature a rolled-edge backrest with a very expressive rosewood grain. Solid rosewood base. Round, tapered legs. This chair is often attributed to Harry Østergaard, who designed a similar model. A beautiful example of mid-century Scandinavian interior design that will harmonise with many interiors and styles. A wonderfully timeless elegance. Very good original condition with a slight patina corresponding to age and use.
